Dave studied art under mentor, Jose Cruz. He attended NTSU for drawing and painting then dropped out to apprentice under Robert Hackney in Dallas, TX. He started taking walk-ins in the Spring of 1991. Dave tattooed in Texas, California and Hawaii; finally settling in Brooklyn in 1999. He opened his first shop in 2009 and this studio in August 2011. Dave prefers working in a wide variety of styles and enjoys visualizing ideas for clients. He does not tattoo hands, faces, or white-ink-only tattoos.
Zoe Bean is painter and tattooer living and working in Brooklyn. She got a masters in art at Pratt that she will be paying off for the rest of her life. Zoe began tattooing in 2009 and loves line work, dots, and tiny details. She is married to a tattooer named Sweety. She paints, bakes, gardens and is a mom to one son, one french bulldog and one cat.
